Benefiting from my diverse business educational background, I began part-time private tutoring in Sydney in 2018 and have accumulated understanding across various business domains. My students are mostly undergraduates at UTS, La Trobe, UON, UNSW and UYSD.

During my career break in 2020, I also obtained Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) and Cert IV in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).

The most surprising learning for me is that I can grasp intersectional connections between these domains. For instance, I explain to my student why her Visual Communication (Media) subject refers to Halliday's language functions (Linguistics), which could be applied to marketing and data visualization (Business & IT).

I have accumulated rare experience as a trilingual translator and interpreter for various business settings, mostly during my previous full-time in-house duties. Language service providers highly regard my translation skills. I also have work experience as a project manager managing complex projects including single one over 60k words.

I trained myself to be a CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) expert using Trados and MemoQ integrated with translation memory databases and termbases for consistency and accuracy. It requires some curious way to design their structures and connections so multiple translators can work simultaneously. I very much enjoyed the data handling process and decided to dive further into the field of business data analytics.
